Your Best Look Yet at the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High “Air Dior”

For most of us, the upcoming Dior x Air Jordan 1 High “Air Dior” will be out of reach — not just for it’s $2000 price tag, but for its exclusivity, too. But still, we’re rooting for you and that W. That being said, pairs of the Highs are expected to be limited to just 8,500, so the realist in us is suggesting that these up-close-and-personal shots of the collaboration will likely be the closest we’ll ever get to a pair.

Shown here in incredible detail, @retroshopparis showcases the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High from its first round of F&F drops at Art Basel in Miami last December. Premium construction, fine-detailed metallic hangtags, a modified “Air Dior” Wings logo, and the high fashion house’s signature all-over graphic gracing the Embroidered Swooshes remind us why the pair is retailing at a whopping $2000. It’s intended minimal makeup is juxtaposed by bold statement branding underfoot, as seen through an icy-translucent outsole, while it’s overall palette of cool, calming greys and whites make sure that this understated statement piece can be worn with anything.

To ensure the safety of all, in accordance with recommendations by public authorities, and in order to reinforce the coordination of international measures, Dior has decided to postpone its international draw for the launch of the Air Dior capsule collection realized in collaboration with Jordan Brand.

A new date for the Air Dior launch and for the pop-ups dedicated to this unique collaboration will be announced in the future, depending on how the situation evolves.
