Fans of the Jumpman Brand have waited a long, long time for a decent Jordan trainer to flex at the gym or on the trails, and after fluctuated efforts on the long-stanging Trunner series, the brand may have its fist bonafide banger on its hands with the recently-released Jordan Trunner Ultimate. Since its debut last month, the silhouette has quickly established an extensive fan base thanks to a slew of slick color options. Now it’s back with yet another, one that’s all-too-familiar for Jumpman fanatics young and old. Calling upon the ever-popular DMP thematic, the black-based, metallic gold-popped pair is an unmistakable Jordan scheme, wth its classicality juxtaposed here on the ultra-modern and sleek design of the technical trainer.
Midfoot caging and breathable mesh uppers that feature warped diamond-shaped patterns see the bulk pf the pair’s black complexion, with rubber outsoles, tongues, and laces all following suit. Metallic gold garnishes the eyelets, midsole, and metallic Jumpman hardware on the tongue and heel, as well as the outsole’s solitary branding hit. Distancing these away from their Defining Moments moniker is a few flashes of University Red on both the medial tag and insole, as well as a set of striped tags affixed to the toe box and heels.
