The impact Adidas has had on Nike and Jordan Brand in recent times has been well documented, and in response we’ve seen the shift from athletes to influencers, basketball and athletic shoes to “trainers” – and this fits into that latter category. While it hasn’t taken too long for new trainer offerings from Jordan Brand, including the Flight Luxe, I cant help but notice that their newest offering looks quite familiar to an already established Adidas sneaker.
Jordan today Introduced the Jordan Trainer Pro, which you can see below in a dope Gym Red and White colorway. If it looks familiar to you here’s why. The speed lacing system as well as a neoprene bootie design. all above a flexible Free sole. The sneaker I’m talking about is Adidas’ Pharrell x NMD.
Can you see the similarities? Jordan Brand of course have added a lot of detailing, but the basis of the sneaker remains similar. That being said, I do actually enjoy these a lot, and will be a welcome addiction to my rotation. Whilse there’s no release date yet, you will find these hitting stores and online very soon! We’ll be sure to keep you in the loop with any developments.
