Finally, CP3 get’s his ‘perfect’ signature sneaker

This could possibly be CP3’s first championship sneaker.

It’s only taken 11 goes, but Chris Paul and Jordan Brand have finally reached perfection – in CP3’s eyes anyway.

‘I’ve been doing this for a number of years now, and after learning about all of the tech and as I’ve gotten older, I now want my shoe to get lower and to be wearable right out of the box,’ says Paul. ‘Now, everything is about speed and traction.’

All of that technical experience has lead him and the team in Oregon to develop his 11th signature sneaker incorporating five essential elements.

They are the internal lacing system with a midfoot strap (Stability), a solid rubber outsole (Traction), Zoom Air bags in the forefoot and heel (Cushion), a TPU plate under the lateral forefoot (Quickness), and an exploded CP3 logo on the heel (Personality).

And with HOU sitting on top of the West, you can expect Paul to get plenty of use out of the new sneaker.

‘I expect to really see the benefit from this in the Playoffs, where the intensity of the game revs up just a little bit,’ he says.

The Air Jordan CP3.XI will release this April 2018 at select retailers and Jordan.com
