HMMM.
According to previous details shared by Jordan Brand’s social media accounts, this appears to be a first look at the Air Jordan 33.
The pull tabs and flight theme on the sneaker link to their post shared earlier this month, and the box even says Jordan 33, so it’s safe to assume that this is the latest instalment in the Jordan signature series.
Not only does the shoe appear to move away from their recent 30-year retro inspirations (the 31 and 32 were inspired by the 1 and the 2), but it also appears to have moved away from it’s knit materials that have been used since the Air Jordan 29.
It isn’t pretty, but what Jordan shoe at it’s time of release was considered aesthetically pleasing? After all, these are built for performance. So if you’re a serious hooper or a weekend hack who needs all the latest gear, these will be right up your alley.
Jordan Brand will be officially unveiling the Air Jordan 33 on September 20th, so stay tuned as full details will be provided.
