Jordan Brand has a long history of celebrating college sports through special, often-exclusive gear. One example from the company's modern era is a Player-Exclusive (P.E.) Air Jordan 3 gifted to the Florida Gators Men's Basketball Team for winning the NCAA 2024-25 Championship.
Detailed shots of the commemorative Air Jordan retro arrive by way of Instagram user @EnglishSole, an account that claims to have "Largest rare sneaker selection in the [world.]"
The gift for University of Florida Athletics features the school's iconic blue-and-orange color scheme, with the former hue covering the bulk of the AJ3's upper. Premium suede, perforated leather, and alligator-inspired panels appear across the sneaker, sharing real estate with shimmering metallic gold accents that draw inspiration from the NABC National Championship Trophy.

Other carefully-considered details on the Gators Air Jordan 3 P.E.—which is numbered to just 52 pairs—include a "3 GATOR CHAMPS" label on the tongue's underside as a shoutout to the three titles they've won (which explains the use of the AJ3); team stats and a nod to their perfect 6-0 March Madness record; and alternating Jumpman and Gators logos between left and right spines.
Enjoy detailed photos of the exclusive retro ahead. Pairs are never expected to release via Nike.com/Jordan, but handfuls of Air Jordan 3 styles are scheduled to launch over the next year.
