GORE-TEX Air Jordan 1 Element “Light Curry” Lands May 24

Winterized Air Jordans have been a frequent player for the brand over the past few years, with the Air Jordan 12, Air Jordan 4, and scrapped Air Jordan 8 appearing over the past handful of years. The GORE-TEX Air Jordan 1 Element is the newest, debuting in the back-end of 2021 in two initial colorways. Now there’s a third joining the lineup, with the revelation of the GORE-TEX Air Jordan 1 Element “Light Curry”

Like the recently-previewed pairs, it too sports a multi-material construction of ripstop, leather, and more, but this Light Curry pair brings with it brand new blocking and its brightest coloration yet. Here, it’s sail hues that hit the ripstop uppers and midsoles, before a slew of thick leather overlays in the titular hue cover the pair in Chicago-like blocking. Its black color buys onto this OG-style a little more, before being twisted by black tongues and reflective silver Swooshes. Reflective silver Wings motifs work in unison with GORE-TEX branding below, with the silhouette’s staple red tongue branding and tortoiseshell-like outsoles completing the design.
