Basketball is huge in China.
And since Jordan Brand’s entrance to the Chinese market in 1997, the ballers (and even non-ballers) of the country have gone mental for it. Like, crazy insane.
To celebrate the 20-year anniversary of Jumpman in China, Jordan Brand have gone all out with the unveiling of what is now the biggest Jordan Brand store in Asia – Beijing’s Jordan 9 Guanghua.
Larry Miller, Jordan Brand President was pretty amped up about the whole thing, and why wouldn’t he be? This store looks like an amazing experience for any Jordan fan.
“With its unique basketball and sneaker culture, Beijing is a natural fit for the brand’s presence in China. We are excited to bring Jordan Brand’s vision to life in Beijing by creating a retail experience that not only pays homage to the brand’s legacy and the city’s culture, but also inspires the future.”
– Larry Miller, President of Jordan Brand.
Jordan 9 Guanghua opened yesterday to the public, and boy, what a lucky bunch of people who got to see the store in the flesh – because, well, frankly I’m a little jealous.
Very fkn jealous.
Take a look at some of the snaps from around the new joint in Beijing and tell me it’s not the dopest thing you’ve seen today.
