It's no secret: the world expected more from the Luka Dončić-supported Los Angeles Lakers in the 2024-25 NBA Playoffs. But now that the Slovenian superstar has some downtime, he can shift his focus to other aspects of the game, like his widely-popular Jordan Luka 4 signature sneaker.
Having already built a notable roster of styles, the pair was even at the center of a fictional film titled The Trial of Luka Dončić. More recently, the latest non-Air Jordan from Team Jumpman has emerged in an eye-catching ensemble as part of Nike, Inc.'s impending "Quai 54" collection.
For years, the Swoosh conglomerate has prepped limited edition styles for Paris' most important street basketball tournament of the summer. Dončić's fourth signature model takes on a "Tour Yellow/Chile Red/Yellow Strike/Black" color scheme for the occasion. Although bold finishes aren't new to the Jordan Luka series, the newly-surfaced "Quai 54" makeup presumably channels the yellow-and-black look made famous by Bruce Lee in the 1978 film, Game of Death. Kobe Bryant famously referenced a similar color palette throughout his Nike Basketball catalog.

Nods to the Parisian tournament appear on the insole and spine, as well as on the special "Tour Yellow" shoe box. Hits of ruby-colored flair land throughout the mixed-materials upper, perhaps as a nod to the aforementioned outfit.
Underfoot, the Cushlon foam favors a pitch-dark look that allows for the upper's vibrant medley to revel in the spotlight.
Enjoy official photos of the Luka 4 "Quai 54" ahead. Firm Nike.com/Jordan release details haven't been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but that's expected to change by July to coincide with the event's start.
