Nike US has just restocked pairs of the Jordan 6 Rings "UNC" — again in time for March Madness.
Original Post 2020-02-12Let’s be real. The Jordan 6 Rings is not in anybody’s top 10 Jordans list. It’s highly unlikely that it will be in anyone’s top 40, either. The often unfairly-flamed Air Jordan hybrid, which merges the six silhouettes from Mike’s Championship years, has always had a bad rep — but it really shouldn’t, because it is, after all, a showcase of the GOAT’s success. Maybe it’s because the silhouette has taken on so many classic colorways like the Concord, Bred, and Space Jam, colorways in which the silhouette will never stack up against the OG Retro, or perhaps because it’s hella ugly. But what Jordan isn’t? But maybe, just maybe, a fresh new colorway like this “UNC” Jordan 6 Rings can do it some justice.
You couldn’t get any more basic, arriving with a white base and Valour Blue detail. It’s arriving at a reasonable time, too, with the impending release of the color-matched Air Jordan 3, both set to arrive in time for March Madness. But while we’ll have to wait til March 7th for the latter, you don’t have to for these. Pairs of the Jordan 6 Rings “UNC” are available right now, right here on Nike.com for $170
