Outside of the signature retro lineage, Jordan Brand’s lifestyle options have always been hit or miss. Never a mainstay, silhouettes pop up and rarely return, besides perhaps the sporadic Trunner series. The Delta, which was introduced in April 2020, is one of the very few to receive a follow-up design, with the Jordan Delta 2 debuting earlier this year to reasonable success. Its low profile, ultra-comfortability, and fair price point make these a great go-to daily wear or gym sneaker for those who want something a little more audacious from their designs. And if making a statement is right up your alley, then this new Jordan Delta 2 “Clay” may well be your next go-to athletic shoe.
Anchored in earthy terracotta oranges, the pair shifts in hue subtle from material to material, with few contrasting pops in between. There are smokey olive translucent profile supports, olive-grey vamps, and vibrant orange wrap the lateral left shoe – the opposing foot prefers an olive finish as seen from the rear angle. Even the tags feature an orange tint, so too does the entire sole unit, pulls, and liners, with olive insoles and branding, hits rounding out the design.
