Jordan Brand has historically been hit-and-miss with its lifestyle trainers (mostly miss) but it seems to have found a winner in the low profile, ultra-comfortability, and fairly priced Jordan Delta linage. The fact that it’s been successful enough to garner a sophomore silhouette should be enough to tell you that it’s doing big numbers — and you would expect that the introduction of the market-favorite “University Blue” hue will continue that trend upward.
Anchored in Light Iron Ore and milky-white uppers, the titular hue is used sparingly — but effectively. It’s balanced perfectly at the quarter, eyestay, and toe, in a mix of suede and leather textile. The blue hues enclose a semi-translucent white upper and rest atop a muted grey midsole, and a bright white outsole to complete the design.
