Jordan Brand is making significant strides in women's basketball footwear, signaling a new era with the upcoming release of the "Heir" silhouette.
This initiative follows the successful launch of the Nike Sabrina 2, illustrating Nike Inc.'s committed expansion into women’s sports.
The Heir, first teased earlier this summer, is Jordan Brand's inaugural silhouette designed with direct input from their roster of female athletes. A recent glimpse of the "Vapor Green" version showcases the model's innovative design elements. The shoe features a blurry 3D safari print with delicate black streaks highlighted by red and lime green accents. This vibrant lime green also accentuates the TPU cage that wraps around the shoe, enhancing its aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.
Maintaining a balanced look, the sneaker is grounded with an off-white tone across the profile, subtly contrasting its more vivid details. Notable branding elements include a Y2K-inspired Jordan logo on the lateral toe-box and a distinctive negative space Heir emblem on the tongue, further branding the sneaker as a modern classic.
While a specific release date has yet to be announced, anticipation is building for the Heir to hit the shelves as part of Jordan Brand's Fall/Holiday 2024 lineup.
Expect more details to emerge soon.
