This Jordan Legacy 312 Low Channels the Air Jordan 1 "Shattered Backboard"
Throughout its lifespan, the Jordan Legacy 312 Low has taken on a number of different color schemes rooted in Air Jordan heritage. Developed with elements from some of the most popular sneakers in His Airness' signature line, the silhouette has a lot to draw from. For its latest take, the hybrid has seemingly looked to 2015 to borrow a "Shattered Backboard" look.
Clad in an orange, white, and black color scheme, the pair bears semblance to the Jordan 1 "Shattered Backboard" retro set to return in August for its 10th anniversary. While not a one-to-one recreation of the pioneer, the Legacy 312's take boasts a color-blocking that's familiar to those present during the height of the Jordan 1's popularity throughout the late 2010s. The toe box boasts a vibrant orange tone complemented by a pitch-dark hue, creating a one-two-punch present across most of the upper. Elephant print from the beloved Air Jordan 3 appears along the lower profiles, harkening back to Tinker Hatfield's creation from 1988.
Underfoot, the Jumpman and Nike-branded offering features a visible Air unit at the rear-half. The tried-and-proven outsole pattern favors a "Starfish"-like orange that rounds out the "Shattered Backboard" makeover.
