Audacious Air.
The all-new Jordan Mars 270 fuses elements of the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 6 and Nike’s Air Max 270 for one hell of a Frankenstein piece of footwear. And serving as one of the debut pairs is this OG Air Jordan 5-inspired “Fire Red” colorway, which we get an official look at today.
The Jordan 1 is represented at the mid-cut’s throat and toe cap, while seemingly utilizing the lateral mesh from the Air Jordan 4. The Jordan 5 comes into play at the eyelets, while the 6 features heavily at the sole and heel pull. Finishing off the design is Nike’s oversized Air up the rear of the sole unit.
After a first look at the pair earlier this year, official images have now landed on Nike servers — indicating a proximal release, but dates are still to be confirmed.
