Jordan Brand has made a habit of reimagining its legendary catalog, and its next chapter comes in the form of the all-new Jordan MVP 92 — a silhouette that pays tribute to the Air Jordan 7, but not without forging its own identity.
Borrowing the essence of Tinker Hatfield’s original 1992 design, the Jordan MVP 92 transforms the retro spirit into a low-top form that feels a little more grounded in today’s casual sneaker landscape. While the DNA of the Air Jordan 7 is obvious, subtle updates set this model apart: a traditional tongue now replaces the signature neoprene bootie, complete with “Flight” embroidery, while an external Nike Air-branded heel counter — a detail never found on the original 7 — brings new energy to the design.
Elsewhere, the upper receives a more layered build, trading some of the AJ7’s fluid panels for mesh midfoot windows that improve breathability and hint toward classic features from models like the Air Jordan 5.
The debut colorway, “Desert Camo,” leans fully into summer aesthetics. Expect an earth-toned palette built for everyday wear, offering just enough flair while remaining versatile. Retailers are preparing for a rollout later this summer, with the Jordan MVP 92 priced at $140.
In other news from the Jumpman, the OG Air Jordan 4"White Cement" returns this Summer.
