The world of Jordan Brand has outgrown its basketball-focused Air Jordan series. The signature line continues to deliver pinnacle expressions for the sport's performance footwear, but the eponymous label also creates styles for other use cases. Enter: The Jordan Session, a skate-inspired low-top design.

Over the past few months, the new model has quietly amassed a handful of looks, but it's newly-surfaced "Black/Fire Red" makeover is easily its boldest yet. The two-tone color description seems on par with other Chicago Bulls-friendly footwear from "His Airness," but even the quickest glance at the pair confirms the shoe is a wild experiment.

Faux pony hair takes over the bulk of the top-half, opting for a pitch-dark finish. Laces are accompanied by a silver nose ring-and-chain attachment and sits below two leering eyes on tops of tongues. The upper eyelets are joined by ruby-colored horns, a detail that seemingly positions the sneaker's look as a clever nod to the "Raging Bull" moniker associated to a tonal Air Jordan 5. Sole units, insoles, and an included sticker introduce fire-reminiscent graphics into the mix, adding to the sneaker's wild nature. A Nike representative reached out to House of Heat° to share that the pair is a China-exclusive intended to celebrate "the year of the bull." The last time the Chinese Zodiac cycle landed on the Ox was in 2021, with the next Year of the Ox celebration not occuring until 2033.

Enjoy official photos of the new Session ahead. Pairs could launch via Nike.com/Jordan before 2026 gets going.
