Shelton Jackson "Spike" Lee has been making headlines for decades. In January 2012, the legendary film director appeared allover the internet after gifting President Obama a pair of the Jordan Spizike "Bordeaux," a pair that eventually released February of that year. Nike, Inc. has revisited the multi-colored style for its Fall 2025 offerings, only this time, prepping it as a Low.
The Jordan Spizike Low hasn't had the mainstream appeal its predecessor once boasted, but it's amassed a healthy roster of color schemes over the last year. Akin to the sneakers gifted to the former President, the impending non-Air Jordan features elements from His Airness's iconic signature sneaker line, clad in tones like "Varsity Maize" and "Sapphire Blue." Tinker Hatfield's instantly-recognizable elephant print appears around the lower heel and toe, further referencing the most successful athlete-specific series of all-time.
Differences between the upcoming pair from that gifted to Barrack Obama 13 years ago include the lower collar and non-custom, presidential shoe box.
Enjoy official photos of the latest "Bordeaux" Spizike below. Pairs are expected to hit Nike.com/Jordan by October for $160.
