Jordan Brand’s long-running tradition of college-borrowed colorways continues into 2026, with the Jordan Spizike Low "Michigan" joining a steady rotation of school-inspired releases from the Jumpman brand.

From UNC and Georgetown to Florida and now Michigan, collegiate colorways have become a reliable lane for the brand — blending legacy palettes with familiar silhouettes that resonate beyond campus borders.

The Jordan Spizike Low "Michigan" applies the Wolverines’ unmistakable maize-and-blue combination to the low-top version of one of Jordan Brand’s most recognizable hybrid models. Creamy sail leather dominates the upper, providing a neutral base that allows the darker navy elements to anchor the design. That deeper blue lands on the molded wing eyelets, heel panel, and midsole sections, while maize accents punch through along the collar lining, lace wings, Jumpman branding, and midsole trim.

True to the Spizike formula, elephant print overlays wrap the toe and heel, nodding directly to the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4 — two of the silhouettes that form the hybrid’s DNA. Mesh side panels and visible Air cushioning remain intact, ensuring the shoe keeps its performance-inspired roots while leaning fully into lifestyle wearability. The low-top cut streamlines the look, making it easier to style compared to its mid-height counterpart.

Jordan-sponsored college colorways have become a frequent feature on everything from retros to hybrids, and the Spizike Low is proving to be a consistent canvas for these regional stories. While Michigan branding itself is kept subtle, the color blocking alone makes the inspiration unmistakable for fans of the program and collectors of school-themed Jordans alike.

The Jordan Spizike Low "Michigan" is expected to release in the first half of 2026 through Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com.
