Jordan Brand is taking a walk on the wild side this fall, as the upcoming Jordan Spizike Low taps into one of Tinker Hatfield’s most iconic color stories: “Safari.” While the theme has long been a staple in the Nike Sportswear catalog, it’s rarely crept into the Jumpman’s lineup—save for standouts like the atmos x Air Jordan 3.
The upcoming Spizike Low doesn’t include the classic spotted safari print, but its visual cues make the inspiration clear. Dressed in rich black nubuck and trimmed with striking orange accents, the pair immediately evokes Hatfield’s 1987 Air Safari and the lineage of safari-themed colorways that followed, from the Air Foamposite One to Air Max standouts. Classic elephant print overlays at the toe and heel anchor the hybrid silhouette in Jordan DNA, adding texture and contrast to the sleek build.
While the Spizike line has always leaned into bold storytelling, this fall-ready “Safari” edition manages to strike a balance between statement and nostalgia, ideal for fans of both Jumpman heritage and Nike’s wilder archival palettes.
Expect the Jordan Spizike Low “Safari” to release this fall via Nike.com and select retailers.
