As the entire NBA fanbase eagerly awaits the return of Zion Williamson to the hardwood, his sponsoring Jordan Brand is preparing his sophomore signature sneaker in a multitude of new colorways for the occasion. The next of those to surface is this mostly monochrome effort in black, grey and white — and it comes complete with metallic gold accents.
Here, uppers of mesh, nylon, and perforated leather and suede arrive in shades of cool grey and off-noir, with little deviation between. A handful of metallic gold pops appear on the tongue, strap, heel, and insole brand marks; but that’s the extent of it. Monochrome colors return to the sile unit underfoot, with bright white midsoles hosting grey heel paint and marbelized outsoles to complete the design.
