Air Jordan 1 Mid “Black Metallic Gold” is Coming Soon for Kids

Once more, Jordan Brand looks to recycle a tried-and-true color scheme for its Air Jordan 1 lineage, with this kids-exclusive release of the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Black Metallic Gold” reinstating a colorway made famous by the Air Jordan 1 way back in 2013.

The recently-resurgent color scheme has been seen on everything from the Air Jordan 1 High and Air Jordan 1 Low before hitting the Legacy 312 — now it returns to its roots with the Jordan 1 Mid bringing a brand new flavor to the theme. Here, matte black leather uppers link up with metallic gold overlays and black patent leather collars complete with gold glitter flecks. It’s joined by blacks along the nylon tongue, liners, and laces, with Jumpman and Wings motifs alternating between the two colors. All of this then sits atop a classic white and black sole unit to round out the design.

While an official release date for this killer new Air Jordan 1 Mid “Black Metallic Gold” has yet to be revealed, official images of the pair do suggest that a release won’t be too far away.
