    Update:

The premium-crafted pairs, which were released exclusively in Asia in February 2024, may now see a wider release. Official images of the "Phantom" Air Jordan 1 High Wings have now appeared (September 2024,) indicating that an online release may be on the cards.

    Original Post

Jordan Brand will release a new series of luxury sneakers in 2023, with the Air Jordan “Wings Collection” expected to prepare premium designs and exorbitant price tags.

Reports confirmed by Sole Retriever that the new luxe line will commence releasing pairs as early as summer 2023. The Jordan Wings Collection will provide premium materials, world-class craftsmanship, and artificial rarity, starting with two iterations of the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 and three efforts on the Air Jordan Low ’85.

At these early stages, Air Jordan 1 High ’85 pairs are expected to retail at $1500, while the Air Jordan 1 Low ’85 “Phantom” will fetch $1300.

After an unsuccessful trial of premium “Pinnacle” sneakers back in 2015, Jordan Brand now thinks it’s time to get its foot back in the luxury sneaker market. After the success of the Dior x Air Jordan 1, and Nike’s recent foray with Louis Vuitton, it’s evident that top-tier tooling and craftsmanship are in high demand. It’s also very likely that this demand is a phantom one, as the collaborative name attached it often the drawcard.
