Jordan Brand's Next Monogram Bag Capsule Goes "Black/Gold"
Jordan Brand might be synonymous with basketball footwear, but the eponymous label has become a full-fledged lifestyle brand over the last 25 years. In addition to developing non-performance shoes for every day life, Michael Jordan's imprint has also gotten into the custom of launching accessories like duffle bags and backpacks to bring some Jumpman heritage to the office, on a vacation, or elsewhere.
Throughout the years, Jordan Brand has relied on a Chicago Bulls color palette for many of its non-basketball gear; some items have also referenced popular Air Jordan releases via color scheme or motifs. The latest batch of bags from Team Jumpman sees a "Black/Metallic Gold" makeover that evokes images of the commemorative "Defining Moments" Pack from 2006—a collector's duo that celebrated MJ's first and fourth NBA Championships.
A newly-surfaced Mini Duffle Bag and Backpack see an all-over "23" monogram etched into their outer layers. Saffiano leather-reminiscent sections further position the bags in the luxury space, while golden Jumpman Diamond logos and Air Jordan 1 charms bring sport heritage to the product.
Enjoy official photos of the black-and-gold monogram accessories range from Team Jumpman ahead. A number of bags in all sizes and for all needs is expected to release via Nike.com/Jordan between end of August and beginning of November.
