In a recent interview with Complex, Macklemore reflects on his time designing his own Air Jordans, including the infamous Green pair of Air Jordan 6s that look remarkably like the “Gatorade” Air Jordan 6 rumored to release this fall. While showing them off he had a few words to say about the beverage company.
“This was a sample, and uh…you know…Gatorade came in a couple years later and designed a very similar shoe. I’m not gonna say anything but, these are very very similar to what is coming out in the fall.”
But what really caught our eyes were these two never before seen samples of the Air Jordan 6, designed by the man himself. One is decked in a Green snakeskin instead of the suede upper that we’ve come to know, with the other decked in a Navy suede with faded infrared detailing.
