There’s never been a better time to be a fan of the Air Jordan 1 silhouette — especially when it comes to the seemingly endless run of Mids and Lows that have been flowing through retailers all year long. Although the Mid-cut has had its challenges, the Low has managed to escape the stigmas for the most part — likely helped along by a bevy of beautiful colorways over the past 18 months. Now, after having revealed its latest “Taxi” takeover just yesterday, the low-top silhouette has taken the liberty of pressing another soon-to-be-released entry. This time around, the release focuses on unique, mostly mismatched blocking with the help of a soft color palate.

Similarities between the two shoes can be condensed into just one sentence; white leather uppers, navy forefoot overlays and laces, and white nylon tongues provide the pair’s only matching features. Toe boxes match in hue to the collar and Swooshed sections of their respective sneaker — here in magenta and lavender — while rear overlays opt for a muted orange and blue-grey finish. Completing the design is alternating sole units and liners of blush and lemon, and navy Wings embroidery in the rear.
