SLAM JAM and Jordan Brand are reportedly linking up for a two-pair Air Jordan 8 collaboration in Spring 2027, bringing the Italian retailer’s refined lens to one of the boldest silhouettes in the early Jordan line.
Founded in Ferrara in 1989, SLAM JAM has long operated at the intersection of streetwear, design, and subculture, making its upcoming Jordan project one to watch. While the retailer has worked across a wide spread of brands over the years, its expected Air Jordan 8 pack marks a significant moment, especially with two separate colorways already attached to the release — "Light Bone" and "Iron Grey."
Specific design details, materials, and storytelling elements have not yet been confirmed, so it remains unclear how SLAM JAM will rework the Air Jordan 8’s layered build. Still, the model gives the retailer plenty to work with. Originally released in 1993, the Air Jordan 8 is known for its cross-strap construction, padded collar, chenille tongue patch, and heavy midsole tooling — all details that could be pushed in a more fashion-forward direction under SLAM JAM’s influence.
The Air Jordan 8 has also seen fewer high-profile collaborations than several other Jordan models, which should only add interest around this project. With two contrasting colorways on the way, the pack appears set to offer both a lighter neutral option and a darker, more subdued counterpart.
The SLAM JAM x Air Jordan 8 Pack is currently expected to release in Spring 2027 through Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Pricing has not yet been confirmed.
Expect more details on the SLAM JAM x Air Jordan 8 Pack to surface in the coming months, including first-look images, release specifics, and official storytelling behind both pairs.
