There’s been more than a fair share of Barons-inspired colorways over the years, none more recently than the Air Jordan 9 “Baseball Glove” arriving in Birmingham Barons colors of Black and White.
We’ve seen it hit the Jordan 1, the Jordan 13 and of course the arrival of the 11 Low just last year.We’ve even had a Barons-inspired Air Jordan 12 that arrived in predominately White, with Grey and hits of Black on the detailing.
But like the 9 and 11 from last year, the theme looks it’s best when it comes in decked out mostly in Black. And that’s exactly what we’ve dreamt up today in the Concept Lab. Our version utilizes a Black Suede upper, with Blacked-out mudguard, mid and outsole. The metallic hardware comes dressed in Charcoal with minimal use of White for the stitched accents and heel detailing.
Because of Mike’s ties to the Birmingham Barons, this almost feels like an OG. And because of this, any Barons colorway becomes an instant classic.
