Trae Young Teases an All-New Air Jordan 3 Retro with Printed Uppers
Since signing with Jordan Brand in November 2024, Trae Young has repped the Jumpman hard. In addition to lacing up the marquee Air Jordan 40 in-game, the Atlanta Hawks guard has been rocking the storied signature line off-court. Most recently, Young gave the world a preview of a never-before-seen Air Jordan 3 retro.
Posted to Instagram Stories by the Hawks, the newly-surfaced pair features an off white finish across its build. Silver and grey accents join the mix, but the sneaker's most-defining detail is the multi-colored busy paneling across the upper. An initial shot of the pair leaves much to confirm, but displays elements reminiscent of the iconic Michael Jordan Playground poster from 1989, an image that recently re-appeared via apparel. The ornate pair worn by Young could don embroidered chenille, printed graphics, or decorative jacquard fabric, further cementing the Air Jordan series as a fashion staple. Firm details, however, remain a mystery as of writing.
