Official images of the Women’s Air Jordan 3 “Orange Citrus” have surfaced ahead of its upcoming retail debut, confirming the long-awaited return of a design that first appeared as a sample nearly two decades ago. Originally created in 2007 as a women’s-exclusive concept, the colorway is now scheduled to release on April 4.

The Women’s Air Jordan 3 “Orange Citrus” stays close to the original Air Jordan 3 blueprint, pairing a white tumbled leather upper with perforated panels across the eyestay and collar. The model’s signature elephant print overlays wrap the toe and heel, but here they arrive with bright orange crackle detailing layered over a light grey base.

Additional orange hits appear throughout the design, including the collar lining, eyelets, and outsole. These accents stand out against the otherwise neutral build while maintaining the familiar balance that defines the Air Jordan 3’s design language.

The midsole remains mostly white and houses the model’s visible Air cushioning in the heel, while the outsole features a bold orange finish with red traction zones and a white midfoot panel stamped with classic Jordan branding.

While the sneaker may look like a fresh addition to Jordan Brand’s lineup, the Women’s Air Jordan 3 “Orange Citrus” actually traces its origins back to 2007, when the pair existed only as a women’s sample. Its official release nearly two decades later gives the once-unreleased colorway a proper retail moment.
