Where to Buy the Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High
When Travis Scott was spotted in a brand-new Air Jordan 1 Low OG collaboration on New Year’s Eve, sneaker social media went into meltdown. Hyped at anything Travis wears (plus a brand-new color palette at that), people fell in love with the Low which was only sighted in grainy imagery. Then, just yesterday, a first teaser image of what is expected to be the pair’s retail production surfaced, exciting fans even further.
But what if we’re not getting the Low? What if we’re getting a High?
We thought that just a few weeks back with our concept Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High “University Blue”. O.K., we may have known that there was a High in the works, But we didn’t quite know exactly how it would look — until not. Overnight, Travis Scott stepped out in the brand-new Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High. Unlike our Concept from last month, the actual pair features a leather “Black Toe” build, with the dark royal in the rear, and flipped black Swooshes. It also rests atop a completely sail sole unit.
Sneaker-insider @zSneakerheadz has kindly whipped up a render of the pair, though it’s still unclear if an actual release will take place, or if the pair will remain a family and friends reclusive. Given his track record of flex vs. release, there’s about a 50/50 chance. Either way, we’ll be sure to keep you updated right here on the official HOUSE OF HEAT Twitter account with further developments.
Update 03.10.21 First looks at a suspected retail sample of the Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High has arrived via @wavegod_thelegend and @fxxkvlog. Though the pair is incomplete, info provided from the source indicates that toes will boast a royal blue, while forefoot overlays arrive tonal to the mid panels white. In the rear, you can expect to see a black collar with overlays of Fragment’s famous blue leather featuring alternating Cactus Jack and Frag stamps in the rear. For aficionados of the Air Jordan 1, you will notice a strong resemblance to the mythical Royal/White sample from 1985 (pictured just below), save the color and placement of the Swoosh. We’ve mocked up the pair for a better reference, but you can also check the first looks out here below.Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High
