Marcus Jordan’s Trophy Room x Air Jordan 5 Releases In-Store and Online on May 18th

Heir Jordan himself, Marcus Jordan, is set to debut a duo of special edition Air Jordan 5s via his Florida-based store, Trophy Room.

Of course, this isn’t the first time the sneaker boutique has received exclusives, with more than a handful or releases like the Air Jordan 16 and Air Jordan 17 already made for the store. It’s not the first time that Marcus has had specially-made Air Jordan 5s, either, with the pair pictured above created as part of the store’s launch back in 2016,

But for 2019, Trophy Room will be dishing up something a little different. One pair comes dressed in University Red/Ice Blue-Sail-University Red and the other in a presumably flipped in Ice Blue/Sail-Metallic Gold-University Red. No leaked images have surfaced as of yet, but we can expect the notorious Twitter fingers of Marcus to flex them as soon as he’s got them in-store.

The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 5 Pack is slated for a release this coming mid-2019, both online and in-store at Trophy Room.

Update 04.28.19 PJ Tucker took to the ‘gram pre-game tonight to flex Trophy Room’s Red Air Jordan 5, said to remain a Family and Friends exclusive. When news first leaked of this collaboration late last year, a release was scheduled for April, but with Trophy Rooms moving out of their Disney Springs location this summer, you can likely expect the release of these 5s to coincide with the opening of their new store — so stay tuned for more updates!

Update 05.03.19 A release date has been set for the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 5, with limited numbers set to land at select stores on May 18th, 2019. Both colorways are said to release in extremely limited size runs, with the blue retail pair kept to a slim 7,000 units, and ultra-exclusive friends and family pair will only see a sparse run of 223, most or all of which will likely be gifted to individuals in the Trophy Room inner circle. Update 05.03.19 Trophy Room has officially unveiled their plans for the release of the “Ice Blue” Retro 5, which will be available on this Saturday, May 18th, during their first come, first serves pop-up event Celine Orlando.
