Air Jordan 1 High “Court Purple” Pushed to April 11th
A Chicago-blocked Air Jordan 1 “Court Purple” is on the way for 2020, and it’s already establishing itself as a fan favorite.
Leaked earlier this year (further below), the Purple Chi’s — or Sac Kings 1s — was always going to be a successful launch for the Jumpman Brand, thanks to the overwhelming success of the Court Purple Toe from September 2018. In fact, that release was so popular, it’s forced Jordan Brand to deliver a flurry of purple-popped retros in 2020.
Today we get a very detailed look at the pair, courtesy of @hanzuying, that put the sneaker’s textiles, intricacies and execution of full display — and I can tell you this: you won’t be disappointed. It arrives in the aforementioned Chicago blocking, that is, white leather uppers overlayed by colored collar, heel, lacestay, and toe overlays — all of which arrive here in the title color. The pair’s throat arrives in clean black leather, which also adorns the Swooshes, and the pair comes complete with leather tongue tags, black laces and liners, and a white midsole/purple outsole combo underfoot.
Grab a look at the pair below in HD, and expect a release to occur on April 4th, 2020, for $170. Keep it locked on HOUSE OF HEAT for more details when they come available over the next few months. Until then, you can catch up with the latest Jordan Brand news right here, or head on over to our Jordan Release Dates Calendar to see what Jumpman drops are heading your way!

Originally reported to arrive in traditional “Bred” blocking, further developments by way of @Mr_Unloved1s and @zSneakerheadz have the pair pegged to arrive in another OG-styled blocking: the Chicago. Expect a straight swap of colors — Court Purple for Varsity Red — come Spring 2020. Of course, being so far out from the date, first looks are unavailable. But based off the color listing and info provided, we have rendered a mock-up further below to give you a good idea of what to expect next year.
