    Chief loves ’em!

Let’s be real. The Jordan 6 Rings are not in anybody’s top 10 Jordans list. It’s highly unlikely that it will be in anyone’s top 30, either. The often unfairly-flamed Air Jordan hybrid, which merges the six silhouettes from Mike’s Championship years, has always had a bad rep. But it really shouldn’t, because it is, after all, a showcase of the GOAT’s success. Maybe it’s because the silhouette has taken on so many classic colorways like the Concord, Bred, and Space Jam — colorways in which the silhouette will never stack up against the OG. or maybe because it’s hella ugly. But what Jordan isn’t?

But perhaps a touch of paint can change your perception? It sure did for me — because these are lit!

You couldn’t get any more basic, arriving in with a white base and black detailing hits. But it’s pop arrives from the AJ8-inspired tongue, which combines hits of red, purple, golden yellow, and teal, a similar palate used on the upcoming “Dream it, Do it” Air Jordan 9. The same quartet of colors splashes the midsole in a true 90s-flavored splatter effect, capping off the sneaker’s basic yet brilliant colorway.

Pairs have just begun releasing overseas on Nike EU and Australia, with a few pairs even floating around eBay. A release for the U.S. is still TBA.
