Breddy, Set, Go!
When the Jordan 89 Racer surfaced late last year in the OG “White Cement” colorway, you just knew that the “Bred” aka “Black Cement” was to follow.
Predictable, yes, but I didn’t expect it to look this good.
Ahead of the release, we have secured official imagery of a Jordan 89 Racer “Black Cement”, based on the popular Air Jordan 4 . The reminiscent colorway sees the runner’s seamless upper done in pure white and dressed with a Jumpman tongue tag, mesh window, cement print lace tabs and heel tabs. Rounding up the design is a midsole and outsole system borrowed and retooled from the Nike Flyknit Racer.
This silhouette is a follow up to their 88 Racer running model, which coincided with the Air Jordan 3’s 30th anniversary. This year, being the 4’s big 3-0, you can expect a handful more colorways to surface. As for a release date on these “Bred” Jordan 89 Racers, you’ll have to stay tuned.
