Jordan Brand is certainly looking after it’s athletes in 2022, with the likes of Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum, and (especially) Rui Hachimura blessed with special-edition retros and PE pairs that have unprecedentedly seen a retail release. In particular, Zion Williamson has been on a tear, with Voodoo-themed releases and college colorways helping along his signature line — as well as an Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Now the North Carolina native has another two pairs in the works — a special “Fire & Ice” pack that centers around an Air Jordan 12 Low and his sophomore signature sneaker, the Jordan Zion 2.
Fire belonging to the Zion 2, and Ice to the chilly Jorda 12 Low, the pairs arrive in opposition. The former dressed in a striking bright orange outfit with pops of baby blue branding; the 12 inverted, with blue forming the bulk. But despite the chilly nature of the 12, It’s struck with a streaking flame overlay along the profile, while the firey Zion 2 is finished off with an ice-cold sole unit underfoot.
