Kith Opens Chicago Flagship with Exclusive ASICS “World’s Fair” Launch

Kith has officially announced the opening of its newest flagship store in Chicago, Illinois, bringing its signature retail concept to the heart of the Windy City. Positioned just off the Magnificent Mile, the flagship features a Belatrix Stone façade framed in brass and spans two floors dedicated to men’s, women’s, and kids’ apparel, accessories, footwear, and lifestyle goods, along with an all-new Kith Treats. Designed in collaboration with architect Ben Porto of Porto Architecture, the space reflects Ronnie Fieg’s vision through a mix of luxury materials and curated details.

Upon entering the first floor, visitors are welcomed by dark walnut millwork, a coffered ceiling, and Belvedere flooring accented with Montclair Danby marble. The men’s section is presented with custom walnut benches and monolithic display cases showcasing Kith lifestyle goods, jewelry, and footwear. Ascending the walnut and marble staircase leads to the women’s and kids’ floors, designed with lighter tones, Rosa Aurora marble walls, and a dramatic chandelier centerpiece of thirty pendants in a helix formation. Dedicated rooms for accessories and kids’ products provide a more intimate shopping experience, including a cloud motif archway in the kids’ space and tufted wallpaper in the women’s accessories room.

To commemorate the launch, Kith released a Chicago-exclusive capsule in collaboration with ’47, featuring tees, hoodies, crewnecks, and headwear. Ronnie Fieg also introduced the ASICS “World’s Fair” Pack, drawing from the shared history of World’s Fair exhibitions in Chicago and Queens, highlighted by iterations of the GEL-Lyte III, GEL-Kayano 12.1, Mai 0.1, and GEL-Lyte 3.1. The opening will be marked with a one-day ASICS World’s Fair exhibition at Kith Chicago on October 3, showcasing both Fieg’s latest footwear and curated ASICS collections from Japan and Europe. The exhibition will run through opening weekend, with the footwear capsule available exclusively in-store on October 3 before its global release as part of Kith’s Monday Program on October 6.

Kith Chicago is located at 54 E Walton St and operates Monday through Saturday from 11 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM.
