OG Post 11.06.19 // Dwyane Wade and Li-Ning officially unveiled the upcoming Way of Wade 8 at ComplexCon over the weekend, and we’ve got a handful of shots to share.
Early leaks of the Li Ning WoW 8 showed a laceless design, but it looks like they’ve got a traditional laced pair in the works, too. That’s a good thing because 99/100 ballers prefer laces (just ask wearers of the Jordan 33!) By offering two different versions of the shoe, Li Ning are setting a solid precedent in the highly competitive performance basketball market. Take a look at both options below:
Branding on the shoe may appear minimal at first, but you’ll find little Li-Ning popping up here, there and everywhere, with the world’s biggest branding hit I’ve ever seen riding the heels. The latter juxtaposes the streamlined design that’s reminiscent of the WoW 6. It utilizes a plethora of materials, including Cordura Fabrics, leather and synthetics along the upper with plenty of support pieces. Carbon Fiber is one of those, brought back into the mix with a full-length spring plate.
