OG Post 02.27.20 // Aime Leon Dore is back with another New Balance banger, and boy, do they know how to drum up some hype about it. Their old-folks visualization has become their collaborative signature, and again the Queens-based label has reinstated the aesthetic to announce their next project, a New Balance 827.
The overarching theme of “Runners aren’t normal” is perfectly summed up in the teaser campaign which hams-up the dad-sneaker in a juxtaposed high-fashion style; a typical late 60s Queens couple is donning the white-based sneaker with outfits that complement the sneaker’s apparent accents. Bones, beiges, golden yellows, and greens appear all across the chunky trainer, with golden outsoles and green “N” motifs being the pair’s biggest talking points. A release date for this Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 827 is yet to be announced, but you can expect more information to roll out over the coming weeks — so make sure you’re following our official Twitter account for further updates!
