Both known for carefully curating their collaborative partners, New Balance and Carhartt WIP will finally link horns on their maiden collection, with the two streetwear legends set to deliver a series of apparel, footwear, and accessories that is championed by the Carhartt WIP x New Balance 990v1

The collection’s theme is modeled after decades-old neighborhood gyms that can be found all throughout America. Heritage colors of navy and grey fill up the release as if we took a walk back to the early 80s, where the original New Balance 990 — and pretty much every trainer of the era — was fitted out in such hues. Material-wise, you can expect nothing but the best, and ultra-shaggy suede and intricate mesh work with classic sole units to give an authentic retro feel. The pair is then finished off with co-branded tongues, heels, and insoles.
