Departing from the 1906R's typical layered aesthetic, CAYL's rendition introduces a fully nylon upper decorated with graphic substitutes for traditional overlays and a distinctive geometric grid pattern that spans the entire shoe. This design not only reflects CAYL’s utilitarian ethos but also enhances the model's functionality with features like cord laces and snap closure. Additional climbing-inspired elements include a pull tab at the rear, reminiscent of the updated 1906U silhouette.
