DTLR Looks to the Sky for Exclusive New Balance 1906R 'Moon Sign'

Maryland's DTLR has a longstanding relationship with New Balance. Over the years, the retailer has released handfuls of exclusive N-branded footwear rooted in compelling stories and executed with impressive color schemes. For its latest linkup with the New England stalwarts, the retailer has looked the the sky, drawing inspiration from astrology for its 1906R 'Moon Sign' project.

Slated to land in sizing for Adults and Kids, the New Balance 1906R 'Moon Sign' by DTLR combines celestial vibes, tried-and-proven comfort, and retro aesthetics for a package sure to win over new fans for the brand. A 'Light Grey' mesh base pays homage to the moon's surface, setting the stage for a series of colors associated with specific astrological signs. 'Clementine' and 'Neo Flame' harken back to fire signs like Aires and Sagittarius, while deep 'Neptune Blue' and punchy 'Team Royal' infuse Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces into DTLR's NB. 'Silver' panels across the profiles present some of the 1906's retro running attitude to modern audiences.

All of the silhouette's comfort and stability-oriented components underfoot reprise their traditional roles, providing a reliable, comfort ride as you search for life's deeper meaning. Together, each aforementioned component creates another tally in DTLR's impressive catalog of collaborations with the North American sportswear giant.

The 'Moon Sign' 1906R will release exclusively via DTLR's stores and DTLR.com shop on Friday, March 7. Pairs in Men's sizing are priced at $165, whereas Big Kids' and Little Kids' sizes retail for $120 and $110, respectively.
