When I first saw the capsule’s name I thought BOOM. Jimi Hendrix collab. I’m in.
But then I found out these this trio of New Balance X 90s were inspired by incense. You know, that shit your wife burns to try and make everything romantic, but end up overpowering the entire crib, making it smell like you just walked into a hipster vegan cafe in Brooklyn.
That being said, the three pairs on offer are actually lit, pun intended.
The pack consists of three different colorways that span the gamut of incense: a light lilac, a stately stone grey, and a rich dark grape. Apart from the perfect seasonal tones, co-branding is plentiful, including removable Velcro tongue tabs, custom insoles, and branded lace tips — hell, you even get a pack of incense sticks.
