Foot Locker-Exclusive "Desert Heat" New Balance Collection Arrives Aug. 28

Foot Locker is back with another exclusive New Balance capsule before the start of fall.

Having previously displayed a particular liking to both the NB 1906R and NB 1000, the North American retailer has selected both silhouettes as the stars of "Desert Heat," a range of footwear that draws inspiration from the arid landscape. Black-colored bases appear across all three styles, and are complemented by shades of pink, blue, green, and yellow. One makeover on the New Balance 1906R delivers a medley of different tones, while the remaining duo mostly favor a black-and-pink color scheme. Nevertheless, all three offerings are rooted in nature.

For its official campaign, Foot Locker has tapped Marvin Harrison Jr., wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals. Given his team's base near Phoenix, the 23-year-old NFL athlete is far too familiar with the sort of scenes depicted in "Desert Heat" visuals.

Enjoy campaign material for the collection ahead. All three pairs are expected to release via FootLocker.com on Thursday, Aug. 28. The New Balance 1000 is priced at $150 while the NB 1906R pairs retail for $155 each.
