Founded in 2006, the Montreal-based JJJJoundhas turned a digital mood board into a fully-fledged design studio, and along the way has established itself quite the following. Over the years, we’ve seen their logo found across apparel basics, lifestyle essentials, and footwear collaborations, too. Now, after recently releasing a subdued black and navy effort on the New Balance 990v4, it has been revealed that the label will return with a green-themed r990v3 in the coming weeks.

Swapping the silhouette’s signature greys for soft, welcoming greens, JJJJound has leveraged select tonal hues for contrast, working through light mossy shades to olive. Popping in are in-vogue variants of sail against grey and black accents, with the latter providing the pair’s midfoot N motif with a murdered-out finish — a rarity for any New Balance release. The pair is then completed by white, sail, and black soles, and co-branded embellishments in the back.

A release for the JJJound x New Balance 990v3 “Olive” collab will be released exclusively at JJJJound.com this Thursday, February 24th at 12 noon ET, followed by a wider release at select retailers and Newbalance.com on March 3rd. Pairs will retail for $250 USD.
