Joe Freshgoods' Every Now & Then Reimagines the New Balance Fresh Foam X RCVRY
Joe Freshgoods has maintained a relatively quiet profile on the sneaker collaboration front in the first-half of the year. That, however, is bound to change for the remainder of 2025 as the Chicago-native recently teased a project between his Every Now & Then brand and New Balance, which reimagines the Fresh Foam X RCVRY slip-on.
Founded in his home city three years ago, Joe Freshgood's Every Now & Then is a creative hub that champions community through pop-up installations and panel discussions. The imprint's physical space (which is moving to a bigger location) also carries a curated selections of items to bring world-class footwear, apparel, and accessories to the Windy City. Soon, an Every Now & Then x New Balance will be available for sale at the store.
Unveiled via a '90s sitcom-style Instagram Reel, the undisclosed project arrives in a green co-branded shoe box. The color is signature to Joe Freshgood's creative effort, and appears all over the laceless style JFG and team have already dubbed the everydays™.
The last linkup between the Chicagoan and Boston-based institution released in February, which celebrated both parties' 5-year run together. Early speculation believed the inaugural New Balance by Every Now & Then would fall within the Made in USA family, but this idea was debunked. Instead, ENAT will help energize the Fresh Foam X RCVRY silhouette.
The New Balance RCVRY is unlike most other products currently offered by the heritage company. Its chunky, multi-piece build boasts similar cushioning to some of the brand's running trainers. The fully-injected upper, 360-degree massaging interior, and aforementioned Fresh Foam X cushioning unlock the "everydays™" moniker.
Stay tuned for firm NewBalance.com release details and official photos of the collaboration. More information could arrive over the weekend as ENAT is set to host a block party in Chicago on Saturday, June 7.
