Kawhi Leonard’s Bankroll-Inspired New Balance OMN1S “Money Stacks” Releases Tomorrow
Kawhi Leonard’s one-and-done effort in Toronto last season, which included the Franchises’ very first C’hip and the Finals MVP, too, all but ensured a whopping $130 million dollar max contract in free agency. The load-management mogul also recently landed a lucrative deal with New Balance — the Klawman gets paid. With all this talk of money, it’s no surprise that his next colorway of the OMN1Sarrives inspired by it.
The New Balance OMN1S “Money Stacks” was conceptualized by Leonard himself whilst working with NB’s Creative Design Manager Jonathan Grondin. The Bankroll theme rolls deep throughout the upper, from its greenback-inspired palate of cream-white and greens to special detail around the collar’s border to mimic that of a banknote — it even features a midfoot strap that resembles freshly wrapped stack fresh from the mint. Capping off the design is a gum rubber outsole that — you guessed it — is inspired by a rubber band.
Leonard will debut the money-inspired OMN1S on-court at the NBA’s Battle of LA on Christmas Day. where the Clippers and Lakers will battle it out at the Staples Center. It will then release to the public one day later on December 26th at 10 am ET, right here on New Balance.com for $140 USD.
