The New Balance 1500 Commemorates the 2025 London Marathon

As an official sponsor of the 2025 TCS London Marathon, New Balance has prepped a number of performance and lifestyle items to commemorate the major event. Over the last handful of years, the brand has produced limited editions of its Made in England 1500 honoring the 44-year-old race.

Ahead of April 27, the New Balance 1500 has emerged in yet another LDN-stamped ensemble. Akin to past iterations, the newly-surfaced pair predominantly features an understated color scheme that allows for any slightly-bold tone to revel in the spotlight. Premium black suede takes over the bulk of the upper, with branding details opting for ruby-colored flair. The aforementioned abbreviation for the Major Marathon's host city appears on the lateral heel in red embroidery.

Underfoot, the tried-and-proven sole unit (which was initially developed for performance running in 1989) keeps a classic finish. In the past, other London Marathon-inspired takes have donned all-over patterns. By comparison, 2025's commemorative style is generally quieter than other editions.
