The New Balance 1906R Gets Retooled—Again
The New Balance 1906R has solidified itself as one of the brand’s most versatile silhouettes, transitioning effortlessly from retro runner to casual loafer and even trail-ready designs. This adaptability has made it a canvas for experimentation, and New Balance is taking the model even further with a new water-resistant pack poised for release.
Arriving in two colorways, the pack includes a sleek black pair with navy glaze overlays and a clean white option featuring a grey-based upper. Both designs utilize tightly woven, water-resistant mesh uppers, making them functional for various conditions. Enhancing the utilitarian aesthetic, toggle laces and rear pull tabs are incorporated for ease of wear and added style.
Underfoot, the pairs maintain the tried-and-true 1906R sole units, with the black colorway offering a uniform dark base, while the white pair opts for a sail and grey combination to complement its upper.
A release date has not yet been confirmed, but the New Balance 1906R water-resistant pack is expected to drop soon. Stay tuned for updates on its availability via our dedicated New Balance Release Dates Page.
