A "Black" New Balance ABZORB 2000 Is on the Way

The vis-tech-centric New Balance ABZORB 2000 is gradually building a roster of styles.

Having launched in a tonal "Blue Agate" ensemble, the silhouette continues to emerge in brand new styles. Thus far, all pairs have taken on a predominantly tonal finish, allowing for hits of grey, pink, and now black to shine in the spotlight.

The technical, futuristic design favors a pitch-dark mesh base on its latest appearance. Fuse overlays across the upper indulge in New Balance's signature grey, creating a look that'll surely rival the competition's black-and-silver running retros from the last 15 years. The robust, chunky ABZORB SBS-cushioned sole unit underfoot introduces a slight blue touch into the mix, but not enough to overshadow the understated color palette seen above.
